Knight-Commander Methacust

This is a graphic pencil drawing of my new character Methacust, an anthro insect knight-commander of the army of the barbaric insect kingdom in the world of Karamador. And behind him are some insect soldiers from his army.

"Methacust is powerful, savage and ruthless commander of the army of the anthro insect kingdom Karandor, his and his army's motivation is to wipe out all the other anthros from Karamador. These insects despise all the other anthros because they see all the other races as much lower who all should be killed or enslaved. For this reason negotiating and reasoning with these insects has been futile. In recent years especially the kingdom of Karandor has gotten more and more aggressive towards the other kingdoms of Karamador and there have been constant conflicts between Karandor and every other kingdom. Despite the kingdom of Karandor seeming to work without any allies, they have caused lot of destruction everywhere in Karamador among animal anthros and humans. So far every kingdom has managed to push back Methacust's and his minions attacks, but despise how many insect soldiers die and their fortifications are destroyed, they always manage to come back in even greater numbers.
The kingdom of Doreador, the home of the fox princess Anima, has seen that only way to stop these insects is to form an alliance with all other kingdoms of Karamador, but so far this all has been futile as well since all the other kingdoms have disagreements and conflicts among themselves. Only time will tell can Methacust's forces be even defeated once and for all...

About knight-commander Methacust himself, no one knows much about his past or even what he looks like without his armor. Only things that are known for sure are that he is extremely powerful and can devastate groups of enemies at once all by himself. He appears to be master tactican as well which have been seen by the effective attacks of his army and devilish strategies to catch his enemies off-guard.
Since not many know much about the life in their kingdom Karandor, Methacust was for long believed to be the head of the whole kingdom. But recent informations gathered by mercenaries hired by the army of the kingdom of Doreador have revealed the head of the insect kingdom to be something simple known as the queen..."

About creating Methacust and the kingdom of the anthro insects, the idea about a race of anthro insects I came up as early as 2007 and even drew a picture of one such creature kiljunator.deviantart.com/art/…, but I didn't put the idea any further until now. The main idea to now finally flesh out these insects was the fact that there aren't many insect creatures in the fantasy worlds and my world already has Mechnater and his army of demons, and Duke Targiel with his army of undeads, and demons and undeads are so common in fantasy world already so I decided to add something different. And these creatures being insects was also inspired by my phobia of insects in real life. Inspiration for them and their background I also got from the Locust Horde from Gears of War series.
Methacust himself I originally made up back in 2002. Back then he was a stereotypical human superhero named Metalman. In 2007 I ditched all my stereotypical superhero characters but instead of ditching Metalman, I decided to rework him completly and turn him into a villain. And so he ended up becoming a mysterous insect knight Methacust. Originally I planned him to be one of Mechnater's generals but that idea I ditched soon. Any proper picture or introduction of this character I didn't do until now that I somewhat fleshed out this whole barbaric insect kingdom.
